Audit Manager – Designate Partner
50 to 100K (ACA / ACCA / ICAEW) - Our client, a major local practice with a premier league client base seeks an audit manager / designate partner.
You will be responsible for planning and organising major client audits, as well as hopefully being part of the “sharp end” marketing and new account pitching team.
Big audit experience 11m t/o + is required and on joining you will inherit one of the largest client portfolios.
Your team will be highly qualified, technically advanced and very motivated. Your prospects will be agreed in advance the “partnership deal”.
Job specification includes:
Plan and review departmental assignments, ensure compliance with internal and external procedural & regulatory requirements are adhered too. Plan and manage assignments, ensuring all the necessary resources are available. Use resources effectively and keep partners informed of progress. Or new possibilities of future business or likely tricky problems. Liaise with the tax department concerning client’s and directors tax issues. Marketing support, aware of all company operational rules and regulations, prepare engagement budgets and agree figures, assist in tenders and formal proposals, quote for new arrangements, manage work in progress and monthly billing levels, control recovery rates, observe and control time recording procedures, finally manage departments financial results.
