Our client a provider, custodian and guardian of local housing seek to appoint the above professional with FCA / ACA / AAT / CIMA qualifications. The job involves maintaining the rent accounting system. Assist the Finance Manager in the production of all financial information required. Additionally assist the Finance Manager in the completion of monthly and quarterly financial controls.

Functions include:

Maintenance of tenancy records
Update the accounting package SUN to reflect accuracy regarding the rent balances and other transactions on the system
Raise and post invoices on the accounting system
Allocate sundry income received; follow up all outstanding balances with the assistance of the income management team
Assist in weekly reconciliations, and period end bank reconciliations
Act as first point of contact for insurance related issues, reporting any insurance incidents with insurer and all contact issues
Verify any amendments of data to the payroll system
Overview payroll prior to authorisation
Production of monthly management accounts
Monthly financial controls for review by the Finance Manager
Circulate all budget holders finalised management accounts; assist in the production of quarterly information to the group
Training and development issues within the group.
