Company Accountant - Financial Controller

The client, a cutting-edge, high-technology manufacturing firm
based in central Cornwall. Designs and engineers innovative catchment-market-products,
distributes to clients based throughout the UK. Housed in exceptionally
modern, spacious offices, employs over 80 staff and has a healthy
£6M + turnover figure.
The Chairman seeks to appoint a decision
making accountant that will work alongside him assisting with
corporate and macroeconomic navigation. You will help with decisive
market-analyitical-strategies and make comments with regard to
new product development projects. Really testing your creative
and econometrical abilities to their maximum potential.
Head of
Accounting, duties will include management reporting, year end
figures, cash flow forecasts, budgeting, VAT, statutory returns
and monitoring various compliance issues. Additional responsibilities
include monitoring new computer software updates. Generally you
will be the Chairman or business owner's right-hand-man. It's
