PA - Senior Partner, Practice Helston - £25-30K
Our client, a prominent Helston accountancy practice, seeks to appoint a capable accountant,
senior AAT or part qualified practice professional.
The job mandate incorporates working with the Senior Partner,
assisting in all aspects of their Client Portfolio Administration procedures.
We seek a professional with the following all-round expertise,
as well as a jolly character for close client support and communication:
Exceptional skills in the production
of Sole Trader and Partnership accounts from both complete and
incomplete records.
Processing from primary records onto Sage Accounts
production.
Ability to hold client meetings both induction
and informal.
Produce a full set of bespoke final accounts.
Produce Company accounts in the desired format, including intangible
/ tangible fixed assets, investments and work in progress, debtors
and pre-payments, creditors and accruals, bank, cash and loan
analysis, all reconciliations, provisions and contingent liabilities,
post balance sheet events, all related party transactions, operating
leases, finance leases, HP agreements, VAT analysis, control accounts,
depreciation accounts and wages analysis.
Tax work should include - VAT analysis
and production of returns, performing income tax and corporation
tax computations, analytical review of financial statements and
records, variance analysis using financial (including performance
ratios) and non financial information.
Finally, audit of company accounts from planning
to completion stage. Auditing experience of both Solicitors and
Estate Agency clients would be very advantageous, including a
thorough knowledge of all compliance and statutory regulations.
