Major bi-operational West Country
tourist attraction is looking to recruit a new senior member of
the management team. This senior position has two facets - Operations
and Business Development.
The former specification will involve running the business on
a daily basis. Staffing - recruitment of attraction operators
and maintenance staff, banking and cash, running accounts, administration,
health and safety issues, security, tracking and analysing sales,
profit figures, financial reporting, assessing costs-maintenance
of all mechanical and electrical work, a good level of spoken
and written English is imperative.
Business Development and Marketing
involves increasing ticket sales and promoting growth in all of
the business sectors. Locating and using all trade distribution
channels, developing a marketing strategy incorporating time lines
and budgets, all cost predictions, financial forecasts, building
relationships with distributor channels, creative input and cost
control of sales and marketing literature, control of press and
PR fees, creation of a press and PR campaigns, push B2B, B2C,
e marketing and SEO email campaigns. Design and market corporate
hospitality programme.
An Assistant Manager is also required
to work with the General Manager. HGV-PSV qualification would
be useful. Experience of computer operating systems, bookkeeping
and accountancy would all be welcome. Applications from administration
