Employment Lawyer

£40 to 60K - Large local prestigious law firm seek an employment lawyer to deal with both contentious and non-contentious employment-civil associated types of work.

Experience of Tribunal advocacy associated with employment proceedings is desirable as well as drafting and correcting general and complex employment contracts.

Working knowledge and experience of general civil litigation - dispute resolution would also be highly desirable, combined with case knowledge of the following types of employment work: Redundancy, discrimination, unfair dismissal, compromise agreements, disability discrimination, race discrimination, locality discrimination, sex discrimination, discrimination on grounds of religion or belief, grounds of sexual orientation, equal pay, breach of contract, working times, minimum national wage, whistle blowing, health and safety, restrictive covenants, TUPE, maternity, paternity, adoption, flexible working, employment appeal, tribunal and court of appeal, victimisation for trade union activity, disciplinary matters at the nursing and midwife council or the health provisions council.

The position is based mid county in an expanding team that can offer realistic career and promotion prospects to partner and equity-buy-in stage.
