Our client a respected and well known law firm with three offices based throughout Cornwall seek to appoint the above professional. The position requires candidates to be ILEX - Diploma qualified, but if you have excellent technical experience and have a stable career record exceptions can be made. Experience is sort in two sectors of the property conveyancing business - Commercial and Residential property. The job involves managing a busy office with five staff reporting to you.
A Commercial Property Lawyer looking for a new challenge could also be interested in this role. There could be the opportunity to develop the commercial side of the operation – Buying and selling businesses for clients, contracts and other fee generating non-contentious a possibly contentious types of property work.
Our client’s offices are based in three key areas of Cornwall, one a major town that provides all amenities and is a known business-hot spot. The two other offices are situated in two excellent and affluent towns situated on the north coast peninsula. It’s a fabulous geographical spread for a thriving and expanding law business that offers a full range of client services.
Technically the position involves dealing with transactions across a
broad range of properties in the in the Housing Market, encompassing high
to mid value freehold and leasehold properties.
Acting for Private Clients in Residential Conveyancing, Builders in Land
purchases and Estate Sales and for Property Developers in developing and
converting a wide spectrum of Property.
The role also encompasses a substantial amount of Commercial Conveyancing
involving dealing with Hotels, Guest Houses, Restaurants, Bars, Public
Houses, Clubs, Factory Units, Offices, Shops, amusement Arcades and a
variety of other business enterprises. Experience should also included
complex option agreements, high value mortgages and re-mortgages. Acting
on the purchase of development land, dealt with Planning and Section 106
Agreements, set up building estates, property flat conversions, dealt
with subsequent Plot Sales and acted for management companies.
