Debt Collection Administrator / Manager / Partner

Financial Debt Collection Business - Administrator / Manager / Partner job vacancy in Central Cornwall.

Our client, a West Country business consortium based in Central Cornwall, seek to expand their business operation. They have asked our firm to find an expert with a clear understanding of the Debt Collection business.

We seek the possible candidates:
1. A professional who could be currently working and wishes to become an advisor and investor to the new business.
2. A retired solicitor or FILEX professional looking for an entrepreneurial opening or partnership opportunity.
3. An individual looking for part-time professional work, but must have the appropriate technical business knowledge required.

Litigation Lawyer

2 to 6 years, PQE 30 to 60K - Our client a leading law firm based in central Cornwall seek to appoint a Dispute Resolution Lawyer. The position will involve the resolution of commercial and civil disputes.

Job - Specification requirements include:

- Assessment of the strengths and weaknesses of client claims.
- Advising on the conduct of negotiations and carrying out negotiations on behalf of clients during all stages of the claim.
- Issuing and defending court proceedings and advising clients on each step of proceedings to the conclusion of or settlement of claim.
- Debt recovery and re-payment plans.
- Advising on partnership disputes, insolvency advice, including presenting of statutory demands, presenting and winding up petitions and advising on voluntary arrangements.
- Professional negligence litigation work, advising on all contractual disputes, non contract - employment matters, commercial and personal cross-border theft and finally, consultation regarding any other breach of law or infringement of rights within the civil and commercial legal parameters.

Listed below is experience that our client requires. There is a future partnership opportunity for the right senior candidate. The salary listed above is only an indication of what could be offered; for the right senior candidate, the figures above can be doubled. Our client is the law firm that all local ambitious professionals would like to work for.

Experience required includes:
Estate planning in relation to inheritance tax, advanced computations and all administration regarding inheritance tax liabilities, enduring powers of attorney, cross-border taxation, trusts, pension issues, EPA's, codicils, letters of wishes, drafting wills, nil-rate-band discretionary trusts and trust wills, wills containing life interests. Drafting deeds of variation, deeds of appointed trustees, deed of disclaimer and indemnity for a retiring trustee, settled land act trusts, heritage property, gifts with reservation of benefit and pre-owned asset provisions, lifetime giving and inheritance, drafting executors oaths, grant of probate - preparation of IH200 accounts, winding up of high-net-worth estates, valuation of chattels, property and farmland, auction of property, distribution of estates, preparation of estate accounts, deeds of valuation to sever joint tenancies, registering powers of attorney with courts, running power of attorney and declaration of trust files, drafting and registering LPA's, drafting settlements, loan agreements, entering restrictions on property registers, testimony capacity issues, intestate estate files, cross-selling and marketing technical services to other law firms. IFA's and HNI's regarding probate tax and trust services.

Running evening seminars at IFA's and firms of Chartered Accountants, promoting and cross-selling employing law firm and all of its departments. Additionally the sort and complexity of work that the departments can complete for chartered accountants or IFA's clients.

This position is open to all candidates with the right experience both locally and on a nationwide basis.
