The position will include the following functions:
- Taking telephone instructions, initial client interview, advising and making statements.
- Arranging various funding options, taking statements, requesting medial reports and x-rays.
- Liaison with doctors / consultants concerning facts and the way forward about the case.
- Court orders, instructing counsel and medical experts, preparing all documentation, attending court and final hearing.

P.I. – Acting for a variety of blue and white collar trade unions, specialises in work and general accidents, occupational deafness, disease and stress-related conditions, claims of both fast and multi-track, recognised ability to take over problematic cases.

A good understanding of the importance of accurate risk assessment and working in an efficient and cost effective manner to the benefit of both claimant and employer is essential.

Partner - Clinical Negligence

300K package - “Partner – with team of lawyers – 1.5m + budget” - Our client, a large law business with offices based throughout the West Country, have appointed our firm to locate Clinical Negligence Partners - Lawyers with expertise, knowledge and contacts within the vast and complex region of Clinical Negligence and Personal Injury. We hope to identify either a Partner or Partner with a focused team - entourage of highly skilled CN/PI lawyers.

The future Equity Partner should have knowledge and experience of the following: Highly skilled in administrative law and judicial review inquests regarding clinical negligence and personal injury disaster law. When death is related to medical treatment, catastrophic birth, pursuing claims against the legal profession arising out of the mishandling of clinical negligence claims against NHS, private hospitals, health trusts and medical institutions, actions against government departments and human rights act litigation and employment law. Work experience in extremely severe cases resulting in High Court and County claims.

A new Clinical Negligence and Personal Injury legal team is under current construction. The business will cover - Cornwall, Devon, Somerset and other selected regions of the UK.

Clinical Negligence and PI Lawyer

40 to 80K - Cornish Law firm seeks CN-PI lawyer experience ranging from 2-8 PQE or a professional who covered these specialist areas during training. The current position is working with panel member who is running a large caseload of complex claims.

You will become a member in a large team where management/leadership needs to be addressed-strengthened. Assist develop the caseload by marketing to clients and other professionals.

Ideally we seek strong CN/PI work experience, additionally grounding in civil litigation or dispute resolution work procedures and CPR. Also NHS complaints, publicly funded civil work and LSC procedures.
