Our client - a leading Cornish law firm seek to appoint a company and commercial lawyer. Possibly you are working in one of the larger cities in the UK and wish to relocate. A relocation package is on offer and can be discussed at the inception meeting.

The role is based within a team that have a rapidly expanding client base. Clients range from small to medium sized companies all based here in the South West. Businesses are trading as tourism, farming, retail, and services, industrial and manufacturing entities.

The mix is what you would expect from a coastal region flavoured with an agricultural ingredient.

Company & Commercial Lawyer

Partner Potential - very interesting position for someone new to the county or a lawyer with real ambition. This position offers a route to partnership and the chance to build a new division within the firm.

The company is based mid-county and has six partners, busy in all usual business / work activities of a country law firm. This position could suit three types of candidate: Firstly, an ambitious Company and Commercial Lawyer with just over two years PQE looking for a fast track route into the partnership arena. Secondly, a well seasoned professional with over 6-8 years PQE, again a Company and Commercial specialist who is going to make partner at their current firm but has ambitions of assuming the prestigious role of Managing Partner. This Managing Partner opportunity is also a possibility due to the current flexible structure of the law firm client. Finally, a Commercial Litigator 2-4 years PQE who has had previous Company and Commercial work experience.
