Family Lawyer – Part time

Local Cornish law firm based in a beautiful seaside location seek to appoint a family lawyer who would like to work part time.

The following experience is sought:
- Conducting initial consultations and assessment of both client and case, advocacy to FDR stage, including preparing and assisting council at final hearing.
- Complex FDR’s and high court matters.
- Drafting all applications, statements, Form E briefs to counsel and orders.
- Correspondence on all cases, referrals to mediation and all LSC funding applications.
- Children act proceedings from application to final hearing with counsel.
- Family law act, proceedings from ex-parte applications to final hearing with counsel.
- Assisting another fee earner on child care cases, including attending PPM’s and directions appointments as advocate.

This is fabulous job that could be expanded at a later date to a full time appointment.

Family Lawyer – Part Time

Your office will have fabulous coastal views and you could even visit the beach after work or during your lunch time. Your new employer seeks to appoint a professional family lawyer who would be interested in working part-time, maybe three days a week. Possibly bringing with an active case load of both private and publicly funded clients would be of great interest too.

A hardworking family legal professional who is hopefully either a Children’s or Family Panel Member. Be responsible for administration and work from inception to final completion. Will take a proactive approach to marketing the firm to new prospective clients through social networking, PR events, and writing articles for the press and local magazines. Our client is interested in speaking to candidates actively working within the Penwith, Kerrier and Restormal client catchment area.

This position is ideal for either a parent lawyer, a lawyer with another interest such as study or maybe a known high profile lawyer looking to just catch up on the other side of life.
