Our client, a local Cornish “blue chip” - household name in the local business community, seek to appoint a Manager / Associate to head up Private Clients Business for all Cornwall based offices. Success in this appointment will lead to a Partnership opportunity and a substantial six figure remuneration package.
We seek to find a lawyer with thorough private clients experience in probate, wills and trusts. Additional experience and knowledge in tax and accountancy would be extremely interesting for our client but not essential.

Key areas of expertise will include: Contentious Probate, Tax Planning, Administration of Estates, Wills and Letters of Wishes, Personal Injury Trusts, Deputyships, Receiverships and Court of Protection work, Creating Department Systems – Developing file management systems, Professional man - management experience and high level marketing and client development capability in both Cornwall and Devon.

Clinical Negligence - Personal Injury Lawyer

Local, dynamic law firm seek a competent Clinical Negligence / Personal Injury Lawyer.

The position will include the following functions:
- Taking telephone instructions, initial client interview, advising and making statements.
- Arranging various funding options, taking statements, requesting medial reports and x-rays.
- Liaison with doctors / consultants concerning facts and the way forward about the case.
- Court orders, instructing counsel and medical experts, preparing all documentation, attending court and final hearing.

P.I. – Acting for a variety of blue and white collar trade unions, specialises in work and general accidents, occupational deafness, disease and stress-related conditions, claims of both fast and multi-track, recognised ability to take over problematic cases.

A good understanding of the importance of accurate risk assessment and working in an efficient and cost effective manner to the benefit of both claimant and employer is essential.
