30 to 60K (Associate 60-80K) - Our client, a forward thinking and very busy firm, seek an agricultural or rural lawyer / associate. Ideally, you will have contacts in both Devon, Cornwall possibly Somerset too, and would like to work for a firm where your progression will not be hindered.
Your clients will be: farmers, landowners, eco-commercials, green labels, energy utilities, agr-business, business clients linked to agri-business, city law firm clients with no rural agri-expertise, owner clients based overseas, Work involves, farm - land acquisitions and disposals, business structures, succession, taxation issues, diversification, bloodstock, public rights of way, access to land, purchases of estates and farms by overseas clients, estate management for landed estates, land use, environmental issues, intellectual property, trade issues, finance, credit and general commercial transactions.
Ideally, we seek a lawyer that has an interest in locating and marketing the firm to eco-clients on a nationwide basis.
