Job vacancy for a Crime Lawyer and Prospective future Partner 60K+, Currently a Partner: 80K+
Our client is seeking to appoint a specialist talented and ambitious Crime Lawyer who is looking for a newly created and opportunistic career position. That will lead to a possible future Partnership opportunity.
Ideally we seek a solicitor that has Higher Rights of Audience (All Proceedings). Accreditation as a Duty Solicitor. Solicitor Advocate experience, with plenty of court case planning. Currently working for law firm, that is a member of the Legal Services Commission Panel.
Additionally, you could be a Crime Partner in a UK Law firm. Our client would defiantly be interested in talking to you. Relocation applications are eagerly sought after
The current role will involve Police Station rota duty work, Magistrates and some Crown Court work – advocacy, appeals/Court of Appeal. High cost case work involving client defence/advocacy for crimes such as murder, manslaughter, importation of drugs, kidnap, arson, false imprisonment, possession of firearms, serious sexual assault, death by careless driving, serious fraud, internet crime.
Driving offences & general crime work. Protestors – Animal rights activists, hunt saboteurs and fathers for justice. White Collar Crime – Serious fraud dealings – money laundering, HM Revenue and Customs Prosecutions Office experience; Possible dealings with the CPS Fraud Directorate and the Serious Organised Crime Agency. Asset Recovery & civil recovery SOCA dealings; cash seizure, assistance with FSA work and their investigations. Confiscations, extradition, actions against the Police and Armed Forces court martial work.
