Paralegal: Recovery – West Country Law Firm – 17-26K

The Litigation and Regulation Department at our client’s offices are recognised nationally for their knowledge and expertise. The department have successfully developed a debt recovery model which is run by the Recovery DR team. The team conduct debt recovery work and fast track litigation for a number of large institutional clients, with particular specialist sector expertise in retail and education.

An opportunity has arisen for a paralegal to join this successful team in Devon/Cornwall. Working, predominately for existing clients you will be the first point of contact for all debt recovery matters. The role involves a wide range of responsibilities including issuing letters before action, issuing proceedings and dealing with various enforcement procedures. You will maintain regular telephone contact with both clients and debtors.

The successful candidate will ideally have previous experience in a debt recovery role and will be looking to further develop their career in this sector; you must also have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. You will be a strong team player and able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
