We seek an Associate Lawyer to work in the Banking Group of this premier law practice. Based in the City, An excellent opportunity.
The Associate Lawyer would be able to get involved with the following types of work:
- Acquisition finance
- Leveraged finance
- Trade and emerging markets finance
- Real Estate finance
- Restructuring and Insolvency
- Financial structuring
- Syndicated finance
The nature of the work provides associates with the opportunity to gain broad experience and an understanding of the issues that arise in other jurisdictions. There is a friendly and open atmosphere within the group and everyone is keen to share their knowledge and experience.
As an associate in the Banking group you will be involved in a range of tasks, including drafting, reviewing and negotiating documentation and providing research and advice to clients. Depending on the transaction, you may also be asked to help coordinate the input of lawyers from other jurisdictions to ensure that clients receive a seamless service from the firm. The transactional nature of much of the work conducted by the group necessitates that associates think practically and commercially to accommodate the needs of their clients and meet the often challenging transaction timetables. There is a strong emphasis on teamwork and you will be expected to work well with others.
