Finance Director

Our client a household name in the West Country business arena is seeking to appoint a Finance Director. £70k to £150k.

We seek a qualified accountant who has a business degree / MBA. The ideal candidate will have a very stable and reliable work history that is accompanied by a successful business track record. Our candidate will feel comfortable with decision making at board level.

Their current employer should be turning over in excess of 20M+ and may have subsidiary corporate vehicles based in the financial stable. Our candidate will possess an entrepreneurial flair with experience or knowledge of mergers and acquisitions.

The successful candidate will show flair, professionalism and experience when dealing with all financial mediatories.

Another range of skills and knowledge that we seek is the ability and experience to possibly take our client to the market in a sophisticated, polished and precise manner.

Our client is expanding into overseas markets, we seek experience and the ability in dealing with international clients. Risk Management and compliance knowledge will also be highly desirable.

This position is available to candidates on a nationwide basis. Working in the City and want to move out of town?

Assistant Finance Director

30 to 40K - ACA / ACCA / CIMA / ACMA 3 to 5 years + PQE

The client, a communications and business supply firm was established in the late 1970’s. They have local modern prestigious offices and can be categorised as a services niche player that supplies digital communication equipment and information systems.

A top performer in the local 150, future expansion is defiantly part of the plan. Working with the FD you will assist in the production of sound financial management with the delivery of - development, growth, efficiency operations, service quality and risk management information.

Involving Internal and external reporting across the group - Year end, six month internal management and statutory reporting, providing requested strategic analysis and accurate financial commentary, internal audit control. Input regarding the groups project ledger, fixed assets register, reporting on the strategic development programme, treasury management analysis, assisting in securing new finance, interest rate management, financial planning, budgets, forecasts finally capital planning.

Ensuring that company insurances are in place, assisting with legal and compliance issues, administration and management input regarding dispute resolution. Future succession to a premier appointment within the group is a promising possibility.
