Producing monthly / quarterly management accounts, board of directors reports, treasury control including currency risk exposure, budgets and forecasts , contract administration, fixed asset management, import and export administration, performance statistics, finance control, credit control, dealing with outside financial agencies, finally managing the accounts and administration office.

Our clients a top 100, local specialist manufacturing company, seek to appoint the above. They have a financial turnover in excess of 19M and export their specialist product range to all corners of the globe.

The position involved running the entire accountancy and financial reporting function. Managing: credit control, purchase ledger, VAT, cost accounting, budgeting, payroll and management reporting.

Accountancy Practice based in South Cornwall seek an accountant to run a small but wide ranging client portfolio. You will also need to advise clients on tax computations both personal and corporate.

We seek a motivated professional who can prepare financial accounts from prime record source/incomplete records – cashbooks, computer systems, purchase/sales ledgers etc….

Collate quarterly VAT returns. Bookkeeping and account maintenance using various accounting systems and manual ledgers.

Training clients to use accounting software and offer bookkeeping advice.

As mentioned above, process clients / directors personal tax calculations and annual tax returns.

Offer clients tax planning and sound technical advice.

Practice Accountant – Truro

AAT / ACA / Pt Qual Practice Accountant job in Truro - 30K plus benefits.
SAGE - Full time or three days a week.

Our client a small, flourishing practice with an exceptional local client base, seek to appoint the above professional.

Ideally you will be either qualified or part qualified and be currently working for a local chartered accountancy practice.

Competency is required in accounts preparation for private individuals, sole traders and small limited companies.

The position will involve all aspects of running your own client portfolio including visiting new and existing clients. These client consultations will possibly be – sourcing new/existing client requirements and introduction, problem software issues, pay roll queries finally giving tax advice and planning

Client tax computations and VAT processing will also be part of the job as well as spending some time working on non-complex management accounts. A thorough working knowledge of SAGE pay roll will prove useful.
