Partners Assistant Job

CER are currently looking to fill a Partner's Assistant job vacancy in Cornwall - AAT / ATT / 1-2 years PQE ACA.

Salary - £20-30k

Our client, a Chartered Practice, based in central Cornwall seek to appoint a Partners Assistant who is very technically adapt with most work associated with practice accountancy. We are seeking an AAT / ATT qualified, a newly or part qualified ACA / ACCA. Alternatively a practice accountant, who could currently be a partner or seasoned accountancy practice professional looking for a position which could be described as more of a 9-5 role. The job requires a candidate with the following skill-set and knowledge.

Over seeing junior staff, workflow planning and the filing of limited company documents. Being first point of contact for the clients and dealing with day to day issues and quieries. Responsible for specific client accounts mostly audit exempt with turnovers - 4/7M. Be familiar with Quickbooks Sage and iris. Assist with the training of customer clients on the use of software systems and the implementation of new accounting systems.

Technical accountancy experience also required is as follows: Preparation of year end accounts for small to medium sized clients and the completion of personal tax and business tax computations. Ability to work closely with clients in the running of their businesses finance. VAT issues, management accounts, budgeting and budgetary control.

Client contact is a large part of the positions requirements. The candidate must have an extremely professional manner and should feel comfortable in all business negotiation and consultancy issues.

ACA / ACCA / AAT / ATT- Pt Qual - 20 to 30K - South Coast, Cornwall.

Accountancy Practice based in South Cornwall seek an accountant to run a small but wide ranging client portfolio. You will also need to advise clients on tax computations both personal and corporate.

We seek a motivated professional who can prepare financial accounts from prime record source/incomplete records – cashbooks, computer systems, purchase/sales ledgers etc….

Collate quarterly VAT returns. Bookkeeping and account maintenance using various accounting systems and manual ledgers.

Training clients to use accounting software and offer bookkeeping advice.

As mentioned above, process clients / directors personal tax calculations and annual tax returns.

Offer clients tax planning and sound technical advice.
