Job Title Partner – Business Risk & Regulation
Job Location Bristol
The role – We are seeking to recruit a highly regarded and established Partner to lead our successful Business Risk & Regulation Team. Based in our Bristol, London or Exeter office according to your preference, you will work directly with the Head of Dispute Resolution, and our Risk & Regulation teams in Bristol and Exeter UK, to provide a comprehensive legal risk offering in relation to Health & Safety, Environment and Food Safety. You will specialise in defending corporate clients against substantial prosecutions brought by the Health & Safety Executive, Environment Agency, Food Standards Agency, Trading Standards and Local Authorities, relating to potentially serious breaches of practice standards. You will be leading a team which has gained experience in highly regulated industries including Construction, Manufacturing, Agriculture, Transport and logistics, Waste and Food businesses. As a truly experienced lawyer in this field, you will have already gained considerable experience within one or more of these specific sectors, and have developed a strong reputation and impressive following with a range of clients.
About You – With an exemplary reputation for high-quality business risk and regulation work, you will have already demonstrated your ability to build lasting relationships, whilst developing new business networks and connections in the local, regional and national market. You will have a proven track record in providing advice, and in defending organisations in their dealings with regulatory bodies and government agencies which could include:

Advertising Standards Authority
