Their clients range from major household names to creative start-ups and from international networks to local important community groups.

Our law firm client has worked for charities and other non-commercial organisations for decades.

Providing expert professional legal advice on a range of prolific issues specific to this unique and important sector of our society.

As well as acting for large organisations and institutions.  Our clients’ also act for important smaller and newly formed charities, offering expert, friendly support as they develop.

Our clients’ team has particular experience and expertise in advising all sorts of charities with a focus on education, religion, medical, work and the forces.

Their charities team expertise includes specialist knowledge of charity law, tax and trusts.

Additionally comprising of specialists with in-depth knowledge that is vital in all fee-earning cross-border contentious matters.

We are looking for a lawyer or lawyers with wide-ranging and in-depth work experience.

Additionally work that integrates Charity/Legacy matters with other contentious fee earning sectors such as:

  • Contentious probate;
  • Problem wills;
  • Complex trusts and their integrated mathematical structures;
  • Employment;
  • Fraud;
  • Complex multi-cross-border litigation;
  • IP disputes.

We are seeking a lawyer or lawyers with work experience possibly involving:

  • Logos, copyright and other intellectual property issues;
  • Charities involved in joint ventures;
  • Legacy management issues;
  • Taxation problems, including donations and legacies;
  • Impact of changes in legislation;
  • Charity organisational structures and constitution;
  • Funding and fundraising;
  • Statutory obligations;
  • Duties, powers and liabilities of trustees;
  • Employment law;
  • Property acquisition, management and investment.
  • Claims under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975
  • Problem and disputed wills;
  • Contentious beneficiary disputes;
  • Financial provision for dependants ;
  • Property issues;
  • Tax issues;
  • Trust disputes.
