Knowledge Lawyer, Cayman Islands

Our law firm client’s Corporate/Litigation teams are looking for an ambitious and experienced Knowledge Lawyer to join our ambitious team in the Cayman Islands. The successful candidate will play a key role in providing our legal teams with both technical and wider knowledge work. Responsibilities include:
Acting as advisory point of contact for the practice area and the firm for all subject-specific legal knowledge needs.
Working closely with the Partner for the relevant practice area and jurisdiction and aligning all activities to support the practice group operational business objectives and priorities.
Drafting and maintaining core precedents, guidance notes, checklists, practice notes and know-how updates.
Undertaking knowledge-harvesting activities and fostering a knowledge-sharing culture.
Providing business development legal preparation support on tenders, pitches, ghost-writing, website content, and training / presentations / seminars for clients.
Assisting in advising, supporting and championing KM IT systems and processes for the relevant practice area.
Requirements include:
A legal qualification.
At least 3 years’ relevant legal experience in a similar role or as a Paralegal / Associate.
Previous Knowledge Management experience is essential.
Experience in providing training.
A high level of expertise in reviewing, researching and preparing know-how documents and coordinating the production of know-how materials.
