We are seeking an an Employment Lawyer, who is familiar with working a caseload of both contentious and or non-contentious matters.
Conducting legal research into past cases and documents.
Drafting and preparing claims, employment contracts or other legal documentation.
Providing legal advice to clients.
Negotiating on behalf of clients.
Representing clients in court and tribunal hearings.
Working in the best interests of employers and employees.
Keeping up to date with new developments in employment legislation.
Drafting Contracts and Handbooks.
Advising HR regarding matters such as: Grievance, disciplinary and family matters.
Employment litigation matters such as: Unfair dismissal, discrimination and restrictive covenants.
TUPE redundancy and reorganisation, including consultation, risk areas and practicalities.
Advising on settlement agreements.
Liase with both parties: Employer and Employee.
Must be able to work with other departments with in the firm on joint projects.
Must be willing to work with the development of the department including: Marketing and all branded services.
Willing to assist with the sustainability of the department would be advantageous.
