We are seeking applications from Commercial Real Estate Lawyers. Ideally you will have the following focused qualities:
Excellent client-facing and relationship building skills.
The ability to communicate complex legal matters in everyday terms.
Keen business development and networking skills.
Strong drafting and negotiating skills.
Flawless commercial awareness.
The ability to work as part of a team made up of legal and non-legal professionals.
IT skills in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and case management systems.
Other experience will include:
Preparing leases, sub leases, lease extensions and renewals, surrenders, licences, notices and other landlord and tenant documentation and generally advising on landlord and tenant issues including 1954 Act notices.
Advising on the acquisition and disposal of land (including agricultural land) and property including drafting contracts, lock out agreements, options and conditional contracts and overage agreements and general planning advice.
Advising on refinancing and loan documentation (including loan facility arrangements for private lenders) and sales and leasebacks of commercial property.
Advising on business asset sales and purchases (including liaising with employment team).
To undertake fee earning work, working both independently, with minimal
supervision and as a member of the team;
Maintain existing relations with the firms clients and assist and help develop new
relationships with third party referrers.
Experience in Commercial Property, with a particular focus on acting on
Landlord and Tenant matters, pension sales and leasebacks, investors, occupiers
and secured lenders and some development work;
Work closely with other departments within the firm on joint
projects.
Assist in developing sustainability sector at the firm.
