Partner – Private Client – based Dorchester or Yeovil: Our client is a law firm that regards the private individual as the focus of its work and as such, are seeking to recruit a Partner into our established and successful Private Client department. Based in rural Somerset and Dorset, this forward thinking, Legal 500 firm has, and continues to grow rapidly and is looking for a talented, partner level individual to join the team.
This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate looking to take the next step in their career. The current team covers the usual range of services from estate planning through wills and probate to powers of attorney.
The team is made up of a range of individuals with varying degrees of experience and specialisms. All team members are encouraged to be STEP members and specialisms are welcomed.
The Job: Joining a busy team spread over all five offices, a willingness to travel to meet clients and your team members will be essential.
Each of our offices has at least one member of the department working in it, and our aim is to see the successful applicant grow this through effective networking and marketing strategies.
You will manage a caseload whilst providing support to your team members and the Head of Department to ensure continued growth of the department and the firm.
The Candidate: The successful candidate will currently be at Associate or Partner level and will have significant experience of, and a proven track record in Private Client work. You and your team will report to the Head of Department and so previous management experience is particularly desirable. Alongside enviable communication skills you will have the ability to market yourself and the department ensuring growth continues at the same rapid rate it has enjoyed in the previous 4 years.
The successful applicant will be a vehicle owner and hold a full driving licence.
