Family and Children Law Senior Associate –

We are seeking to find for our law firm client a knowledgeable family and children law practitioner.
What we are seeking to find –
Experience in represented HNW TO MNW clients in all areas of financial remedy applications including cases involving high conflict, s.37 Avoidance of Disposition Applications, complex factual matrixes, significant pension arrangements, share portfolios, property portfolios, cases involving the instruction of expert witnesses.
Special interest in cases involving complex business interests/structures, including family owned businesses, farms, garden centres, property development companies
Represented cohabitants, including TOLATA disputes following significant periods of cohabitation requiring assimilation of complex facts and legal application.
Pre and Post Nuptial Agreements
Children Act remedies
All s.8 remedies, including applications for leave to remove from jurisdiction and Schedule 1 financial remedies
Drafting legal documents including, Petitions, Applications, Questionnaires, Statement of Issues, Costs Statements, S.25 statements and Orders including complex Financial Consent Orders.
Familiar with applying all areas MCA , FPR and PD’S; TOLATA and CPR.
Developed arguments and strategies in preparation for presentation of cases, presented key evidence and exhibits during family court applications. Questioned and cross examined witnesses.
Advised on legal procedure and probable outcome of cases using legal precedent
Advised on and managed all trial preparations for family court hearings including MCA/TOLATA/IA/Schedule 1 CA, FLA, all areas Private and Public Law CA disputes.
Gained drafting skills providing Written Opinions, Court Documents, Applications, Questionnaires, Statements and Orders.
