| Job Information | Family Lawyer We are looking for a Family Lawyer to join our law firm client’s expanding Family team. The appointed fee earner will be working from all of our law firm client’s 3 South West UK offices, depending where the paying client is situated. However the preferred location for your personal desk is in the Devon office. However working from any of the firm’s other offices would also be considered. The role is permanent and preferably full time (37.5 hours per week) although part time hours would be considered. The role will involve advising clients on all aspects of Family Law work including Divorce, Financial Settlement, Child Arrangements, Domestic Abuse, Co-habitation, Pre & Post-Nuptial Agreements, Separation Agreements and Civil Partnerships. Good communication skills are essential, and candidates will be required to communicate regularly with clients for instructions and to give advice. Technical knowledge of Family Law is crucial. The ideal candidate will preferably have experience in advocacy and will be able to deal with a busy case load. The candidate should have knowledge of case management systems and an ability to use online systems.
