Head of Employment Law, Bristol 80-150K+

The client, a genuine top contender in the employment law market, is seeking to appoint a new head of their employment team.

Our client is experiencing record levels of employment related work and is looking for a well rounded leader that can help them rapidly expand the current team.

This opportunity is ideal for an ambitious Lawyer, Associate or Partner either wanting to re-locate to the South West or make a career move locally to a more vibrant and dynamic law firm.

Our ideal candidate will have over eleven years PQE of both contentious and non-contentious work and will have been practicing law in Bristol or the South West for some time.

You will already have a loyal client following amongst various sized organisations and also possibly be at the level where you can bring fellow colleagues across with you too.

You will have a strong track record in our key partner competencies of winning and retaining clients, developing people and demonstrating firm-wide leadership.

Your experience should involve advising on a wide range of matters, including, but not limited to, the following areas:

Drafting contracts and company handbooks, advising on employment issues regarding company takeovers and mergers, day to day employment issues, director level matters, employment law issues on insolvency and corporate re-organisations, restrictive covenants and enforcement, employment tribunals, unfair dismissal, redundancy, discrimination and breach of contract.

You will also have experience of training clients on employment law subjects.
