Visitors use our sites regularly for information and we are looking to ensure that we maximise the potential new business from this as well as ensuring client loyalty.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Digital Marketing Executive with excellent digital marketing skills to join our growing marketing team, developing and enhancing our capabilities for delivering effective digital marketing.

Supporting the Director of Marketing and Business Development, from initial idea and execution, through to analysis and review, you will be responsible for delivering the digital marketing strategy, which will include managing various websites and the intranet.

This varied, hands on role working in a busy department offers an exceptional opportunity in a dynamic but friendly business, and offers the chance to develop a wider role in Marketing and Business Development for the right person.

Experience

Ideally you already have a marketing/related degree or professional qualification and a good level of online marketing experience behind you. You will have experience with CRM systems, and if this includes customer segmentation and analysis this would be an advantage.

You’re also well-versed in all elements of direct marketing programmes, including databases and campaign management. It would be great if you’ve got some basic HTML knowledge too. With a solid practical grasp of the digital creative development process, you’re a conceptual, analytical thinker, with an adaptable, agile mind.

You also pride yourself on attention to detail, an ability to effectively communicate and manage different stake holders, you are proactive and you enjoy keeping up-to-date with emerging technologies and marketing practices.

 

Essential Technical Skills

  • Knowledge of CRM systems and marketing databases.
  • Knowledge of Web CMS and marketing automation
  • Basic HTML knowledge would be advantageous.
  • A detailed understanding of digital marketing channels, specifically email marketing and Social Media
  • Good knowledge of Search Engine Optimisation.
  • Up to date with emerging technologies and marketing practices.

 

Essential Personal Skills

  • Excellent organisational, time management, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent verbal and exceptional written communication skills.
  • Excellent IT skills (Microsoft Office Suite especially MS Access and familiarity with cloud-based applications).
  • An ability to work as a fully contributing member of a team, whilst at the same time being self-motivating and self-reliant.
  • Proactive, flexible and adaptable attitude to work.
  • Positive outlook and can-do attitude.
  • Professional approach and excellent attention to detail (which is essential to this role).
  • Ability to process and manipulate data using Excel and CSV files.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Strong problem solving skills and adaptability to change.
